Singapore Airlines to be Title Sponsor of Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix

It was announced yesterday that Singapore Airlines is to be the title sponsor taking over from Singtel for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.  This means that this year’s race from the 19th to 21st September  will be called the “2014 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix”

Whilst I don’t think this will have a material affect on the frequent flyer we are likely to see some special offers, promotions and F1 themed events in the period leading up to the Grand Prix itself.  You never know we may even see a flyby which is something that Qantas always do for the Australian Grand Prix.
