When TAM Airlines and US Airways joined Oneworld back in April and then SriLankan earlier this month Malaysia Airlines didn’t release the earning charts for the new members – the now finally have. Thought I should do a quick update for everyone.

Earning Charts for TAM Airlines
Having a good look at the TAM Airlines earning chart, it looks as though all International economy fares will earn 100% Enrich Miles. This is pretty unusual, the majority of Oneworld members you can only earn 50% on discounted economy tickets internationally. As I would expect Domestic classes offer a reduced rate of earning.
The US Airways earning chart isn’t so generous as the TAM Airlines rates. Economy class tickets in Q, N, V, W, L, S, T, G, K, E, R, U are all less than 100% rates, with E,R, and U offering no mileage at all.
Probably more relevant to Enrich members in the Asia region the earning chart for SriLankan Airlines. There is good news here, unlike the majority of their Oneworld peers SriLankan Airlines offers a minimum of 50% mileage earned rather than having 25% or 0%. So that may make some of their economy flights attractive to Enrich members.
The earning rates seem to be pretty good with the majority of fares earning at least 50% mileage, and there are only a few non-earning fare classes on US Airways. I would expect that the US Airways chart to change as the merger with American Airlines continues. Overall though the earning rates aren’t bad in comparison to other Oneworld members.
