Garuda Indonesia has also increased its baggage allowance on International flights, along with Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines. Adult and Child passengers will now be able to take on an extra 10kg across all of the difference classes.
Economy has been increased from 20kg to 30kg, Executive and First from 30kg-40kg and 40kg-50kg respectively. In addition to the increased luggage allowance Garuda is also offering passengers free equipment allowances for things like bicycles, surfboards, golf clubs, or even diving gear.
“As we continue to broaden and strengthen Garuda’s global flight network, it is key to keep tailoring our offerings to meet the changing needs of our passengers. We’re seeing more passengers travelling further with us and for a longer period of time and we’ve enhanced our baggage allowance to provide them with ample space for any journey whether business or pleasure,” said Nicodemus Lampe, Vice President, Area Asia, Garuda Indonesia.
This again is a great enhancement, and really useful if you are planning a long trip.
