Four Seasons Private Jet

The hotel chain Four Seasons has launched its luxury jet – with flights around the world at a whopping $132,000!  I don’t think you’ll get any frequent flyer miles either as they aren’t affiliated with one of the major alliances, but there maybe a few hotel points in it!

You can check out the details on the Four Seasons site or check out this video:

Singapore Airlines – Community Chest and SEA Games

We’ll be seeing a lot of Singapore Airlines at the South East Asia Games as they are now the sponsor airline.  This will include branded merchandise and a presence at the opening and closing cemeronies.  Singapore Airlines also announced as part of the SG50 celebrations it’ll be flying 300 people on a special charity flight including children with special needs, adults with disabilities, as well as disadvantaged elderly and families.  You can find out more about these announcements here:

Malaysia Airlines – Frankfurt, Meals and Excess Baggage

According to a couple of sources including the Malaysian Insider Malaysia Airlines will be discontinuing its flights to Frankfurt.  They will be discontinued on the 29th May and are part of Malaysia Airline’s restructuring plan.

Malaysia Airlines have also changed their excess baggage charges, with charges being applied per 3kg instead of per 5kg.

British Airways – Better Paid Meals and A380

BA is introducing “enhanced meals” for travellers in Economy – to me it seems like a copy of MHGourmet a service that MAS introduced last year.  They won’t be available on BA routes to SIngapore or Kuala Lumpur for now but interesting nonetheless.  Raffles over at Head for Points has this snippet of information for you:

BA is also increasing the frequency of it’s A380 flights to Singapore, which is great news as they’ll finally be reducing the number of very old 747 flights.  Travel Weekly covered this:
