If you’re going through Changi Airport Singapore there’s an easy 600 KrisFlyer Miles with Instamiles to be earned for a few minutes work.

Earn KrisFlyer Miles with InstamilesHow Can You Earn Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles with Instamiles?

Instamiles is a new entrant into the miles earning scene and is owned by parent company HI Duty Free which you may have heard of.  There are very few references to Instalmiles and its been barely covered by the frequent flyer forums or the various bloggers – so we’ll all be trying it out for the first time I suspect.

You earn miles for completing various tasks in the Instamiles App which are usually taking a photo of the product in the store – which are located a various airports around the world including Singapore Changi Airport – the others are:

New York JFK, Shanghai, Paris CDG, Paris Orly, Washington Dulles, London Heathrow, Los Angeles, Geneva, Beijing, San Diego, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Dubai, Frankfurt, Nice, Lyon, Sydney, Toulouse and Brussels.

What’s the Catch with Instamiles?

Besides the slightly awkward picture taking piece of the App the main drawback is that you need to accumulate 2,500 Miles before they are transferred to your desired partner.  Considering that only 600 Miles are on offer for Singapore when I’m writing this that’s going to be a challenge.

I haven’t used the App yet but I’ll be having a go in 2 weeks time when I go through Changi to try and see how this all works in practice.
