Last year Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer added Conxxe as a ground transportation partner, which means you can now earn KrisFlyer Miles on Airport Transfers
About Conxxe and How you can Earn KrisFlyer Miles on Airport Transfers
Conxxe offers quite a large variety of transport options from shuttle busses to private cars therefore fitting a range of markets from individual travelers to groups and those with special needs. They also claim to cover 12,000 locations across the world. Generally I wouldn’t use this type of service in a lower risk country where local taxis would be suitable or where public transport links are good as the prices don’t normally stack up. However it could be another option that avoids expensive hotel transfers.
Earning Rates with Conxxe
Bookings made with Conxxe will earn 1.5 Miles per 1 USD (or roughly 1.09 Miles per SGD). This is not a great earning rate but can obviously be doubled up with credit card earning rates.
KrisFlyer Miles will only be posted 6-8 weeks after the trip has been made so you’ll be waiting a while for miles to post.
You can find out more and book Conxxe through the Singapore Airlines site here:
Don’t forget that you can now also earn KrisFlyer Miles with Blacklane as well which has in some cases higher earning rates depending on the currency that’s used. I posted up details about earning miles with Blacklane here:
Pricing of Conxxe Trips
Trips are based on a few different factors:
- Type of vehicle – as you’d expect the larger the vehicle the more expensive it becomes – with prices for the largest minivan double that of a standard saloon
- Distance – as with most chauffeur services the distance is a key factor
Strangely when you price up the service it has a per person rate, but you aren’t actually charged per person there’s a fixed price for each vehicle – it’s just showing the fixed price divided by the number of passengers.
How to Book Conxxe Trips
Singapore Airlines have made this pretty simple all you need is to book through this link
If like me you’re travelling with children you’re able to book child and infant car seats as part of the booking process. If you’re going to take your own seats make sure you let them know so that they’ve got space in the vehicles.
