Malaysia Airlines Enrich is re-running an offer that they had last year for bonus Enrich Miles for new sign-ups to Hilton Premium Club Membership. I wouldn’t normally be excited by 1,000 bonus miles, but the Hilton Premium Club is worth mentioning in its own right.
Hilton Premium Club is a separate scheme compared to the Hilton Honors program and offers certificate and discount benefits for those that pay a program fee. These benefits are only on offer for hotels in China, Thailand and Malaysia currently.
As this program is separate from the Hilton Honors program don’t forget your Hilton Honors points, and if you aren’t signed up yet you can do so via the Hilton website:
What are the Benefits of Hilton Premium Club Membership?
You get the following top-level benefits:
- Dining Benefits
- Accommodation Benefits
- Hotel Services Benefits
- Hilton Premium Club renewal benefits
The two important benefits are the accommodation certificates; one for a complementary night and more for 50% off the Best Available Rate (usually the most expensive rate – so beware of that). The secondly decent dining discounts at Hilton Malaysia properties including 50% off your bill when dining with another person.
There are a few terms and conditions that you should be aware of including the fact that the accommodation certificate is subject to “black out dates” so I’d advise checking for available on the Hilton Premium Club website prior. In addition the dining discounts don’t include your drinks – alcoholic and soft drinks.
The membership is only for 5 properties across Malaysia:
- Hilton Kuala Lumpur
- Hilton Petaling Jaya
- DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur
- Hilton Kuching
- DoubleTree by Hilton Johore Bahru

Is Hilton Premium Club Worth It?
Malaysia Airlines Enrich is also offering a discount on the usual price RM638 instead of RM748 which to me still feels a little high. Considering that all of the properties on offer in Malaysia currently are usually priced at RM400 or below (for the dates I checked) you’re not going to break even with just a single stay.
Having stayed at 4 out of 5 of the Hilton properties on offer I’d really only go for the Hilton in Kuala Lumpur as the others aren’t quite as nice.
But I can see the dining discounts being useful if you have regular business meetings at the different hotel restaurants.
The 1,000 Enrich Miles really isn’t worth considering especially considering the devaluation – I’ll be doing some analysis on that soon.
You can view the offer on the Malaysia Airlines site via the link below, and strangely the Hilton Premium Club site doesn’t offer a sign-up link so I suggest you get in contact by email on the MH site as well:
Have you been a member of the Hilton Premium Club before? What did you think?
